There used to be 10 Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV China Editions. Key phrase in that sentence would be "used to be". Yes, unfortunately, we have received word that one of those supercars have seen an untimely death. It was in a pretty serious accident on June 6th in Beijing and the pictures depict just that.
Apparently, the driver was going 180 km/h when he lost control, left the road, and struck a group of trees before coming to rest 100 meters down the road. Thankfully, there were no pedestrians on the road and both passengers were okay even though they were not wearing their seat belts.

Days after we showed you photos of a mangled Dodge Viper that was the recipient of a tornado, we have yet another sports car that fell victim to another twister. Somebody better start building shelters for these poor cars.
This particular Corvette ZR1, which, by the way, cost the owner $120,000 to purchase has been reduced to nothing more than a $19,600 piece of wreck. As to what kind of catastrophe gave this Corvette ZR1 a smackdown of a lifetime? Yep. Another tornado in Texas.
If there is a silver lining to what was once a ZR1, it’s that some parts of the car, especially the 6.2-liter supercharged LS9 V8 engine, appears to have been undamaged so the owner can probably still fetch something out of his dilapidated sports car. Hey, it’s better than nothing, right?

No matter what he does, Kanye West just can’t seem to escape the headlines.
This time around, a black Porsche Panamera Turbo registered to his name crashed into a house on Diamond Hill Road in Hawaii over the weekend. This dude just can’t seem to catch a break, can he?
According to one of the residents in the area, Chris Cooper, he awoke sometime around 4 am last Saturday to a thundering noise from across his house. "Just a tremendous crash. As if a small building were coming down," he said.
"I looked over and saw the car impaled in the garage," he added, explaining the scene of the crash that had the home’s garage door pushed in and a large gaping hole in the side of the garage wall.
Fortunately for Kanye, he was nowhere near the scene of the crash as he was out of the island and, as it turns out, a cousin of his was given permission to take the car out for a ride. While the damage to the Panamera Turbo will be enough to send us all to the loony bin, Kanye West is fortunate that he wasn’t directly involved in it. Otherwise, he would have probably taken yet another public relations beating from the media.

There’s nothing we can do about Mother Nature when she decides to unleash her wrath on all of us. That wasn’t any more evident as when she sent down a tornado in Ohio recently that took the lives of seven people and left countless others homeless. And then there’s the matter of property damage. If you have never experienced a tornado before, we definitely would not wish the experience on anyone. Tornados seem to be completely insensitive to lives and property alike. They are destructive in every sense of the word.
One unfortunate owner of a Dodge Viper can attest to Mother Nature’s fury, which pretty much destroyed the Viper beyond repair. Really, look at the photo and tell us if that car can still be salvaged. We didn’t think so.

Hmmm...did somebody step on that 2010 BMW 5-Series? It sure looks like it, doesn’t it?
The photo of this caved in Beamer was taken by an F10post forum member - MarkE90M3 - and it clearly shows a significant amount of damage on the car on both its right side and, more severely, the roof - or what’s left of it - that seems to have collapsed under some pretty heavy weight.
Some folks over at the forum have speculated that the missing roof could have been sawed off in order to free what could have been trapped passengers inside. Either way, whatever caused this beautiful 2010 5-Series, which is codenamed ’F10’, to receive this much damage must have been at the wrong place at the wrong time. What a waste of a perfectly awesome car.

With Saab’s revival under Spyker now in full-swing, we should at least be expecting the arrival of the next-generation 9-5 sedan in the coming months, but before that happens, Saab is doing its part in breaking down the car and making sure that it’s as safe as any car consumers will drive out on the road.
In this video, we catch Saab performing a head-on crash-test, featuring two of the aforementioned 9-5 sedans plowing head-on to each other. There’s not a lot flash in this video, but there sure is carnage and lots of it. Both cars closed in on each at speeds of 60 kph each and the impact, as you can imagine, completely destroyed the two car’s front ends. While that was to expected, the real measure of the 9-5’s safety was in full force when, as soon as the collision occurred, the airbags immediately inflated throughout the cabin with the passenger cells appearing to have been spared from the crash. In fact, the car remained intact enough that the doors could still be opened and closed despite the car’s mangled state.
From the looks of things, it looks like the new 9-5 sedan is up to par with today’s top safety standards, although we’re going to hold off on any judgment because, well, Saab wasn’t particularly known for its safety back in its day.

Who knew that toll gates could become instruments for flying cars. We didn’t think so, either.
But apparently, somebody does, and this video will show you how you can take a Chevy Impala and launch it without any Hollywood gimmickry. The only thing you need to do is be intoxicated, as this female driver clearly was at the time of her stunt-driving audition. After leaving the Dallas-Forth Worth International Airport, the driver decided that paying for the toll wasn’t something she was willing to do, so instead of having to scamper around her bag for loose change, she decided to just jump the damned thing. Unfortunately, the jump wasn’t all that high as the car clipped the booth instead. On the other hand, both the driver and the booth operator escaped the incident without any serious injuries.
We know the kind of behavior that people display while they are intoxicated and, while some of those behaviors are relatively harmless, launching your car over a toll booth isn’t one of them. So we strongly advise anybody to exercise caution, just roll your car through the toll, and pay the fee.

We can only shudder at the thought of having a completely sexy 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder LP560-4 get subjected to something like this. Unfortunately, not every owner knows what it takes to tame a raging bull and that wasn’t any more evident than the owner of this Gallardo Spyder who lost control of his supercar crashing it into two parked cars in Staten Island, New York.
The accident happened in the middle of a pretty bad storm, which leads credence to the age-old corollary that, unless you’re a Formula One driver, driving at insane speeds on a wet road is never a good idea.
And to make things worse for the owner of the Gallardo Spyder, he’s not only going to shell out money to have his ride fixed, but he’s also going to have to pick up the tab for the two cars he damaged as a result of his high-speed, reckless driving. Ouch.
